The refurbishment and rejuvenation of the prestigious Colony Club in the heart of Mayfair, London. The flagship casino site now provides a vibrant dynamic ground floor bar, a sophisticated elite restaurant at first floor as well as associated ground floor gaming areas.
The project has created a distinct and unique environment that effortlessly exudes a sense of class and refinement with an ever present contemporary twist. The curved forms are described as ‘echoing the streamlined contours and motifs of the age of romance and sophistication’. These can be seen in the exuberant curves of the graceful island bar and the effervescent waves of the restaurant central ceiling feature. The design encompasses all the aspects that are critical to the core of our practice’s design philosophy, embracing lighting, quality of material and design refinement.
